With the new year here, I have been thinking about change and new year’s resolutions. I don’t like the resolution part, but I do like change when its positive. My art has advanced to the point where I need to plan out both the art and the photography to accomplish it. I have set myself some goals that involve big changes for me. I am a spur of the moment type person. Very impulsive. Little planning has gone into my life or my art up to this point. I have been thinking about these things this morning. The changes involve being mindful. That is living in the present and not the past or future. Being deliberate and planning out the art work, the photography, and the style. My goals are to plan out each piece and the photography for each one. Not rely on materials from my courses (https://prophotoshopartistry.com/specialoffer). If you want to learn to photo artistry this is the course to explore. This planning is very much out my comfort zone. As I go through these challenges, I will update my blog. Join me on my great adventure both with my art and the changes I will need to make to grow as an artist.
Who I am
Hi all!
You can call me DJ. I am retired from aviation and am moving in a new direction, ART! More specifically digital art. Here you can keep up with what I am doing artistically. From time to time I will post artsy things that I find interesting. For example: Photoshop Grunge (http://photoshopgrunge.com/ Sorry the link isn’t correct. Am still learning this platform.) an artsy and grunge course designed to take photography further. It is hosted by Sebastian Michaels. Check it out.

This is an example of what you can learn.
He also offers other courses like Creative Black and White Photo Artistry and 21 Days to Creative Abundance.

A New Year!
It’s a brand new year. Here is to all of you who are making changes this year . May you have much success! I am starting this year out by opening my own business on-line. My art can be viewed @
